Grooming feels like affection. Your pet relaxes while the rubber nubs collect loose fur from top coat and undercoat simultaneously.
Works on any breed, any coat length. Cats that run from brushes will seek out this glove — the petting motion feels familiar and safe.
Collected fur peels off the glove in one piece. No picking bristles clean — just peel and discard after each session.
Holds up under a tap in seconds, fully dry in minutes. One glove fits most adult hands with an adjustable wrist strap.
Description
If you own a dog or cat that sheds, you already know the math. One Golden Retriever equals approximately one full vacuum bag per week. One Husky in spring equals a small wool sweater worth of fur on every surface you own. The Pawvelle Deshedding Grooming Glove does not fight this — it works with it.
The palm surface is covered in soft rubber nubs arranged to mimic the action of a natural bristle brush. As you stroke your pet, the nubs grip loose hair from the top coat and undercoat without pulling, scratching, or alarming even the most brush-averse animals. Because your hand moves with the glove, you maintain full contact sensitivity — you naturally apply the right pressure. Cats that bolt from brushes have been known to actively seek out this glove.
- Works on dogs and cats — long hair, short hair, any breed, any size
- Rubber nub surface — grips loose fur from top and undercoat without scratching skin
- Before-and-after impact — the fur ball that comes off is one of the most satisfying things in pet ownership
- Easy fur removal — collected fur peels off in one piece, no picking required
- Rinse-clean design — under a tap in seconds, dry in minutes
- Adjustable wrist strap — secure fit for any hand size
- Reduces fur on furniture — regular use means less fur reaching your sofa and clothes
How To Use
- Put on the glove — slip your hand in and adjust the wrist strap for a secure, comfortable fit.
- Start with the back — stroke your pet's back from neck to tail in smooth, confident strokes. Let them adjust to the sensation.
- Work down the sides — move to the flanks, chest, and legs. Use lighter pressure on sensitive areas like the belly and face.
- Check for mats — if you feel a knot, work around it gently rather than pulling through it.
- Peel off the fur — when the glove is covered, peel the collected fur off in one satisfying piece and discard.
- Rinse clean — run under warm water and hang to dry after each session.
Tip: For cats, start with just 2–3 slow strokes per session. Build up gradually as they become comfortable. Most cats are fully converted within a week.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it work on my short-haired dog?
Yes. Short-haired breeds often shed more than people expect and the nubs are effective at collecting fine hair from close to the skin. Many short-haired dog owners find this works better than a bristle brush for their breed.
Does it come in a left-hand version?
The glove is designed for the right hand. However, most people find they naturally switch hands during a grooming session — the smooth back of the glove can be used as a finishing stroke on either hand.
How often should I use it?
For heavy shedders (Huskies, Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds), 2–3 times per week significantly reduces household fur. For lighter shedders, once a week is sufficient. During seasonal shedding peaks, daily use is fine.
My cat is terrified of grooming tools. Will this be different?
Almost certainly. The glove mimics the sensation of a hand — cats that associate grooming tools with stress will typically engage with this within a few sessions because it feels like being petted. Introduce it during a relaxed cuddle session rather than as a standalone grooming event.
Can I use it on a wet pet?
It works best on a dry or slightly damp coat. After bathing, let your pet dry completely before using the glove for deshedding.
